WHO IS DCN?
Independent contractors become owners / members of the Cooperative by contracting with DCN and purchasing one share of stock.
By contracting directly with DCN, subscribing clients (motor carriers, freight forwarders, transportation brokers and couriers) gain access to fully insured DCN members available to service the needs of shippers.
Upon completion of services performed by DCN members, subscribing clients then report agreed-upon payments to DCN for settlements due each member via check, direct deposit or debit pay card.
WHY USE DCN?
DCN's administrative services assume all responsibility from initial enrollment to end of year reporting. Weekly settlement processing includes deduction management of lease payments, insurance premium collection, child support, or other court-ordered payments. Optionally, MVR, Drug Screening and Background Checks can be automated by DCN. This ensures DOT compliance for subscribing clients.
DCN enables the prospective contracting member an AFFORDABLE ownership stake in DCN. Members control the direction of the cooperative through annual shareholder meetings. In addition, members receive access to valuable benefits such as health insurance, tax services, financial planning, legal assistance, and discount programs that reduce overhead and increase profit.
